CHOPTA TRAVEL TIPS

Chandrahila trek from Chopta is about to 5Km one side. it is easy to moderate and can easily be done with kids (Pony is available except in winter to trek up to Tungnath Temple).

Due to heavy snowing in winters at Chopta and Tungnath and the trek tends to get quite difficult but the views cannot be described in words.

There is no direct bus/cab sirvices to chopta but can hire Local taxi from Ukhimath.(not sure.nearest ATM is at Ukhimath, it is better to carry cash with you.

Narest market is in Ukhimath (30 kms before Chopta), so carry all the essential items with you while going to stay in Chopta.
