Best time to to travel to Chopta is in summers (Mar-June) and winters (September – March). The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport, which is about to 225 km from Chopta.

The nearest railway trek is Rishikesh railway station, which is about to 190 kms from Chopta. There are so many trains for Rishikesh with other major cities like Delhi, Amritsar & Kolkata etc. In addition to that, tourists can choose Haridwar railway station with more trains availability from different cities of India.
